About Me:
I’m a former military brat who’s lived mainly overseas while growing up. I couldn’t quite grasp the languages that were used in each country, however I discovered that I could reach others through various forms of artistic expression. These experiences taught me that we are all human and want the same things in life. I fully believe that art and design can help mend not only internal battles, but also those that are external. I currently work for The George Washington University, where I help professors bring their online courses to life using animation and motion design.
My personal projects involve going on an internal journey. What did you find? How did you feel? Now, how can we take what we’ve discovered and share it with others? In my free time, I read tarot cards for myself and others, collect antiques and ancient artifacts, throw axes, and shoot arrows. I travel to music festivals, make playlists for any situation imaginable, and I’m currently teaching myself how to make VR, AR, and 2D games and simulations in Unity. You can also find me collaborating with other artists and organizations around the city of DC (and beyond), so don’t be shy and feel free to say “hello!”
I’ve worked with:
Femme Fatale DC
The Congress Heights Arts and Cultural Center
The University of Southern California
Little Salon DC
The Torpedo Factory
Duke & Duck/DC Motion Co.
